Job Summary and Qualifications
The Office Coordinator is responsible for the smooth and effective operations of the clerical, charge entry,
admission/registration, patient scheduling, and benefits verification aspects of the Advanced Wound Care
Center. Obtains and records patient’s vital signs, height and weight, and blood pressure. Prepares and maintains clean, hazard-free patient rooms.

Hospital / Departmental Policies and Procedures
1. Accepts and supports changes in hospital and departmental policy.
1. Competent as appropriate to responsibilities in the knowledge of the prevention of contamination and transfer of infection and safety policies
1. Competent in the effective and safe use of all equipment
1. Observes hospital mission statement, philosophy, goals and objectives including meeting all Code of Conduct requirements
1. Performs all other duties as assigned
1. Follows all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
+ Previous Office Manager, Medical Coding, or Front Office in a Healthcare Facility preferred
+ Computer literacy required
+ Positive interpersonal relationship skills required
Performance Expectations
+ Must demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist.
+ Meets mutually-agreed upon performance goals and objectives as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
+ Must be flexible, work at a fast pace and manage several assignments at one time
+ Maintain positive interdisciplinary contract with other departments and health care professionals

These include emergency, inpatient rehabilitation. Also including oncology, orthopedics, and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center. TriStar Horizon is a leading provider of emergency heart and stroke care. Our satellite campus, TriStar Natchez, offers imaging and oncology services. They offer a 24/7, full-service ER that provides the same services as our main campus emergency room.
