    Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the inspection and evaluation of complex parts and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to quality improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Inspector Technician

    **Location:** Peabody, MA (relocating to Salem, NH soon)

    **Pay Range:** $27-$28

    **Shift:** 9/80 schedule: Monday to Friday with every Friday off. Flexible start time from 6-7am

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Conduct detailed inspections and evaluations of complex parts and components to ensure product quality and compliance.

    + Document inspection results accurately and determine acceptance or rejection of materials based on specifications.

    + Utilize advanced inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, Coordinate Measurement Machines, and Vision Measurement Systems.

    + Support Material Review Board (MRB) decisions by interfacing with purchasing, engineering, and suppliers.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety and quality standards at all times.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School diploma with 2+ years of final inspection experience related to electro-mechanical technologies preferred.

    + Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and models, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

    + Familiarity in industry software such as SAP, Agile, and Microsoft Office.

    + Familiarity with metrology and inspection tools, including torque wrenches, digital multimeters, Hi-Pot testers, and other measurement equipment.

    + Knowledge of product development processes, inspection techniques, factory and field metrics and calibration procedures, instruments and equipment.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis and reporting.
