As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol** in **UXBRIDGE, MA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities as required.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

+ Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and/or verifying credentials as needed.

+ Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activities throughout the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
