What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into residential locations.

+ Verify identification and credentials of residents, guests, and vendors according to site-specific policies.

+ Provide customer service to residents and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or access needs.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings and the perimeter to observe and report any unusual activities.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards to the appropriate parties.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during emergency response activities.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the residential community.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
