As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access and patrolling assigned areas within dynamic manufacturing and retail locations. You will be responsible for access control, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including responding appropriately during emergency situations.

+ Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized traffic flow within the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary in accordance with company protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns at the location.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

+ Support the enforcement of company policies and protocols related to property protection, workplace conduct, and/or visitor management.

+ Collaborate with employees, visitors, and contractors to promote a secure environment in manufacturing and retail settings.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
