Adecco is recruiting for a **Yard Worker** for a client in **Syracuse (Cicero), NY.** This is a temporary position paying **$19/hour.**
Position Summary:
As a Yard Worker, you will perform essential yard‐maintenance and inventory‐preparation tasks in an outdoor environment. Your role is critical to ensuring our inventory units are properly secured, protected, and ready for downstream processing.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Wrap and secure inventory units — for example, protect hoods, tie down covers, or apply protective materials to vehicles/units.
+ Strap, tie down or otherwise fasten protective coverings, tarps, or wrap materials to inventory units.
+ Ensure each unit has its key properly tied/attached or identified as per company procedure.
+ Perform general yard maintenance: cleaning up debris, organizing units, repositioning units as needed.
+ Work outdoors in all weather conditions (cold, heat, rain, wind) and shift schedules as assigned.
+ Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Communicate any damaged or missing inventory items or protective coverings to the supervisor.
+ Assist with ad‐hoc yard tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing, walking, bending, lifting for extended periods.
+ Physical stamina: regularly lift, push, or pull objects (units, covers, wrap materials) up to 50 lbs.
+ Detail oriented: ensure keys are correctly attached, coverings properly secured, inventory units accurately identified.
+ Reliable time‐management and ability to follow instructions.
+ Comfortable working in a team environment.
+ Basic communication skills; ability to report issues to supervisor.
+ Previous yard, warehouse, or outdoor labor experience is a plus—but not required.
**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
