Quality Engineer

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full-time Quality Engineer for their plant located in the Chattanooga, TN area.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead quality activities, including FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and failure analysis
+ Identify and resolve quality or production issues
+ Investigate customer complaints, resolve supplier quality and internal audit issues.
+ Develop and maintain inspection standards for parts
+ Support internal, customer, and IATF audits; lead audit readiness efforts
+ Provide support to Quality Technicians and other staff as needed
+ Track and report monthly metrics
+ Identify issues and support corrective actions
+ Participate in continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
+ 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar quality role
+ Strong knowledge of inspection equipment & quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA)
+ Experience with ERP, QMS, MES, or other integrated manufacturing and quality systems

**Pay Details:** $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
