We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our Operations Department.  The successful candidate will have electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience.  They will be proficient in operating &  supporting test systems and test equipment to verify the performance of integrated electro/opto/mechanical systems.

This is a 3-month contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform board level and system level programming and testing using automated test fixtures.

+ Perform optical alignment and testing.

+ Operate environmental stress screening (ESS) chambers through highly accelerated life testing (HALT)

+ Capture and document test data as part of production automated test procedures (ATP) and product traveler documentation.

+ Analyze test data in-situ and root cause test issues.

+ Work with engineers and manufacturing technicians to improve test procedures and fixtures.

+ Perform product assembly as needed, including soldering, potting, and mechanical assembly.

+ Other duties as assigned.

• Requirements:

+ Associate degree in general technical area is a plus

+ 2-3 years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

+ Experience with operation of automated test fixtures, printed circuit board assembly and testing, cable harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components are a plus

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Excellent technical report writing skills

+ Basic electrical circuit and mechanical design knowledge sufficient for understanding of test fixtures including basic wiring and computer interfacing

+ Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development

+ LabVIEW or ESS programming experience is a plus

+ Current IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 solder certification is a plus

Pay Range:

$25.50-$31.90/hour

However, base salary for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
