Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Printer Operator, where you will be responsible for performing paper feed tests and ensuring product assurance through operating prototype development products. This role involves loading paper, removing copies, documenting and resolving issues, and entering data into a PC. You will have the opportunity to provide valuable input to test engineers on product performance, contributing to the advancement of technology and quality.
Responsibilities
+ Operate prototype development products for testing purposes.
+ Load paper into printers and remove copies.
+ Document and resolve operational issues.
+ Enter data into PC systems accurately.
+ Provide feedback to test engineers on product performance.
+ Conduct testing in areas such as paper feed reliability, print/copy quality, printer robustness, and sub-system testing.
+ Perform printhead/cartridge yield and reliability testing.
+ Review output for defects and ensure high-quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with reliability testing.
+ Ability to perform repetitive motions.
+ Capability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
+ Basic computer skills, including using a mouse.
+ Attention to detail and product performance monitoring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with inserter machines.
+ Previous job history involving standing for long shifts.
+ Good attendance and reliability.
+ Longevity in employment history.
Work Environment
Work in a controlled, clean lab environment on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM until completed. This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
