Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic assembly department. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets, racks, and drawers into the back of Transit vans and other trucks. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as you will be working to the exact specifications of our customers.

Responsibilities

+ Install cabinets, shelves, and drawers in the back of Transit vans and other vehicles.

+ Utilize air tools to ensure accurate and secure installation.

+ Follow customer specifications with precision.

+ Perform repetitive bending, twisting, and kneeling movements.

+ Work collaboratively with a team of 5-10 contractors.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient use of hand and power tools.

+ Experience in assembly and upfitting.

+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a production environment.

+ Familiarity with PPE requirements such as safety glasses and ear plugs.

+ Physical stamina to perform duties on knees and in confined spaces.

Work Environment

The facility is clean but not climate-controlled, with large garage doors open for ventilation in the summer. You will be working alongside a team of contractors, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
