Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. The role involves operating an 18-foot brake press machine, as well as bending and forming metals. You will also be responsible for some machine setup based on work orders and ensuring accurate machine operation.

Responsibilities

+ Operate an 18-foot brake press machine.

+ Perform bending and forming of metals.

+ Set up machinery according to work orders.

+ Ensure precise machine operation.

+ Utilize measuring devices to ensure accuracy.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating a press brake and punch press.

+ Experience with machine operating and fabrication.

+ Familiarity with reading blueprints and WPS specifications.

+ At least 6 months of machine operating or fabricating experience in a factory setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with reading micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Lake Crystal, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
