    Forklift Operator – Waterloo, IA $20.75/HR

    Position Overview

    **We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Operator** to join our team in Waterloo, Iowa. In this role, you’ll operate material handling equipment to receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies. You’ll use wireless RF scanning technology to ensure accurate inventory management and maintain a safe, efficient workflow.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move racks, containers, pallets, and crates.

    + Load, unload, stack, and relocate materials within designated areas.

    + Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues promptly.

    + Prepare finished orders for outbound shipping and verify labeling accuracy.

    + Ensure products are free of damage, shortages, or overages.

    + Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

    + Maintain compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures.

    + Secure loads for transport and maintain a clean, organized work area.

    + Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and removing scrap materials.

    + Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift operation (sit-down and stand-up)

    + Reach truck and pallet jack operation

    + RF scanner usage

    + Inventory control and order picking

    + Material handling in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting

    + Previous experience using RF scanning equipment

    + Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English

    Work Environment

     

    Expect a fast-paced setting that can be warm in summer and cool in winter. You’ll interact with a variety of team members across departments while working in docking stations, warehouse aisles, and assembly cells. **Dress code:** jeans and steel-toed boots.

    This is a Contract position based out of Waterloo, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
