Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineering Technician Level II at our facility in Littleton, CO for up to 5 months. Join a team dedicated to continuous innovation and operational excellence, utilizing engineering talents to design and deploy cutting-edge solutions for spaceflight. These capabilities include Power Distribution, Embedded Monitoring and Control, Power Conversion, lighting, and Camera based solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures, including static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration tests.
+ Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures using data acquisition systems and established procedures.
+ Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware.
+ Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion.
+ Perform maintenance on test fixtures.
+ Generate ideas for potential process improvements.
+ Assist with non-conformance investigations.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent with 4 or more years of relevant experience.
+ Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
+ Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing.
+ Understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100.
+ Excellent manual dexterity, with the ability to handle small parts such as fasteners as small as #0-80.
+ Experience using electronics equipment, including DMMs, power supplies, and DAQs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong technical capability and mechanical inclination, with the ability to follow and execute procedures.
+ Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
+ Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
+ Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and autonomously.
+ Ability to provide intuitive and timely solutions for immediate prototype production.
+ Effective communication abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
+ Possess strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
+ High standard of quality workmanship.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
+ Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
This is an onsite position at our facility in Littleton, CO. The work involves hands-on interaction with spaceflight hardware and testing equipment in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Littleton, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
