Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a Grand Prairie based construction development organization on a search for a new Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the preparation of the Company’s financial statements

+ Prepare month-end and quarter-end close schedules

+ Prepare weekly operational reports for management

+ Assist with financial statement review and analysis

+ Interface with internal and external auditors and assist as required

+ Adhere to internal control procedures

Education and/or Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

+ Three years or more years of accounting/finance experience

+ Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

+ Solid understanding of financial statements and internal controls

+ Accuracy and attention to detail

+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers (clerical to executive management)

+ Possess strong work ethic

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and vlookups.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with general ledger processes and month-end close procedures.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and investment accounting.
