• Accounting/Payroll Manager

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Tarpon Springs, FL)


    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for our client located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail to manage accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QuickBooks and the ability to ensure accuracy in all financial processes.

     

    + Review, verify and process vendor bills including the coding and matching of associated documents

    + Creation of client invoices using general ledger software and sending to customers; following up on and answering customer inquiries related to invoices

    + Reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts and credit cards

    + Process payroll biweekly for multiple internal hourly and salaried employees

    + Assists with month-end close, financial statements and audits

    + Creation of ad hoc reports for management as needed

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree preferred

    + 5+ years of experience in accounting

    + QuickBooks software highly preferred

    + Strong understanding of GAAP standards and compliance

    + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independent
