    Job Description

    Join our growing team as a 1st Shift Machine Operator in the Grinding Department, where you will operate both manual and automated machines to grind and polish wires for medical applications. You will be responsible for feeding wires into buffing machines, verifying measurements with automatic measuring machines, inspecting dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and performing documentation based on work instructions.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate manual and automated machines to grind and polish wires.

    + Feed wires into buffing machines and verify measurements using automatic measuring machines.

    + Call technicians for machine adjustments when necessary.

    + Inspect visually and check dimensions with micrometers and calipers.

    + Perform documentation and read work instructions.

    + Cross-train to other machine stations and the cleanroom area if interested.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a medical device company in a non-cleanroom setting. The shop is well-lit and clean, with most positions requiring standing. Enjoy a beautiful break room with vending machines, fridges, and microwaves. The production floor accommodates around 50 employees across two shifts, and the environment is safe and conducive to working with medical coils requiring detail and dexterity.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.25/hr.
