Job Title: 1st Shift CNC Lathe Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator/Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will operate a Hyundai Lathe with live tooling to machine parts daily and set up 1-2 jobs using G code on a Fanuc Controller to manipulate tool paths.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a Hyundai Lathe with live tooling to machine parts.

+ Set up 1-2 jobs daily using G code on a Fanuc Controller.

+ Read and interpret G code programming and make necessary adjustments.

+ Perform 1st piece inspections on setups and parts.

+ Set up and run both horizontal and vertical machining centers or lathes.

+ Ensure set-up sheets are filled out and updated accurately.

+ Ensure part handling and packaging prevent damage and oxidation.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.

+ Participate in team-related activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

+ Proficiency in reading and using Calipers, Micrometers, Height Stands, and Indicators.

+ Experience with setting up machine tools and entering offsets into machine control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Preferred knowledge of Mazatrol, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens Controls.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from 5am to 3pm Monday through Thursday, with optional hours available on Fridays or before shift hours. Our team-focused environment promotes growth and learning.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $39.00/hr.
