    Job Title: Packaging Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician in a cleanroom environment. The role involves applying Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and adhering to customer requirements in all areas of responsibility. You will ensure safety regulations are followed, perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products while maintaining the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all tasks.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

    + Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.

    + Conduct in-process and AQL inspections.

    + Perform computer-related tasks for job sign-in, in-process actions, and data entry.

    + Participate in the start-up and closure of packaging jobs.

    + Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP.

    + Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products.

    + Perform component and drug product counts.

    Essential Skills

    + Hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

    + Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands.

    + Working mathematical skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.

    + Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork.

    + Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Initiative, commitment follow-through, and adaptability.

    + Ability to accept and learn from feedback.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be able to work in Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2 to 8°C), and Freezer (-20°C) environments.

    + Physical ability to stand continuously, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, bend frequently, squat, and reach above shoulder level.

    + Must comprehend and execute English work documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a clean room setting that requires gowning, and the use of personal protective equipment such as filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half-face masks, and safety glasses is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable working in freezer environments, with additional pay for PAPR/Refrigerator and Freezer duties.

    SHIFTS

    2nd Shift Packaging Tech 3:15pm-11:15pm $18.70hr

     

    3rd Shift Packaging Tech 11pm-7am Mon - Fri$19.55/hr

     

    *When working in fridge $2 extra for every hour worked, if in freezer $3 extra for every hour worked

     

    $600 Overtime Bonus Incentive for November/December 2025

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $19.55/hr.
