Job Title: Yard Attendant

**We’re looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Yard Attendant** to help keep our operations running smoothly. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that values your contributions, this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do

+ Check in vehicles by recording and filing their information as they arrive.

+ Thoroughly clean vehicles to enhance their appearance and value for auction.

+ Recover keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and store them appropriately.

+ Assist visitors by providing guidance or directing them to the right person.

+ Wash cars, remove license plates, and keep the yard clean and organized.

+ Monitor yard activity to ensure compliance with company policies.

+ Safely operate passenger vehicles around the facility or during drive-through auctions.

+ Receive training in forklift/loader operation.

+ Take photos of cars as they arrive using camera equipment.

+ Assist with other yard functions as needed.

What We’re Looking For

+ Detail-oriented and dependable.

+ Comfortable using technology and cameras.

+ Ability to read and write at a high school level.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

+ Consistent attendance and strong work ethic.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending, standing, and walking.

+ General mechanical knowledge of vehicle makes and models is a plus.

Work Environment

This is an **outdoor position** —you’ll work in all types of weather, so comfort with varying conditions is important.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorktown, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
