    Job Title: Electrical Technician

    Job Description

    As an Electrical Technician, you will interpret and understand electrical schematics, including component and symbol recognition, to complete electrical assembly and support mechanical assembly of power generation products. You will be responsible for running and pulling wire within enclosures the size of a trailer home and working with voltages between 110 and 480v.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble or build components including electrical wiring, junction boxes, line connections, stop buttons, push buttons, safety switches, outlets, electrical motors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, electrical sub-assemblies, and other electrical elements according to standardized work instructions using a wide variety of power or hand tools.

    + Engage in daily communication between multiple departments (Assembly, Maintenance, Materials, Purchasing, and Engineering) to identify root causes, resolve challenges, and prevent future occurrences.

    + Use tools such as impact drills, tape measures, and levels to wire up enclosures.

    + Lift up to 40 pounds throughout the day.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.

    + Experience with electrical assembly and construction.

    + Ability to use hand and power tools.

    + Five years of experience in reading blueprints, running, and pulling wire.

    + Troubleshooting skills in electrical systems, PLCs, and voltage regulation.

    + Experience with industrial settings and termination testing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Understanding of terminations, rough-in processes, DLO prep, and DLO terminations.

    + Ability to work with voltages up to 480v.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on the 1st shift from 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working every other Saturday. Sundays offer double time, and overtime is available after 40 hours. The facility is state-of-the-art, with large bay doors for easy access, and requires steel toes, eye protection, and hearing protection. While not climate-controlled, the facility is comfortable.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Oregon, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
