Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and customer specifications, programming codes and jobs using MasterCAM software, and loading them into HAAS CNC machinery. This role involves setting up the tooling and running the first part, working collaboratively with engineers and set-up operators to guide them through the program, machine setup, and all processes. While this role primarily involves programming, it also requires setting up and operating the machinery. This position is not an office-based role.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret blueprints and customer specifications for programming.

+ Program codes and jobs using MasterCAM software.

+ Load programs into HAAS CNC machinery.

+ Set up tooling and run the first part of the production.

+ Collaborate with engineers and set-up operators for program walkthroughs and machine setup.

+ Operate and set up various 3 and 5 axis machines.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of CNC machining experience.

+ 3+ years of CNC programming experience.

+ 3+ years experience with MasterCAM or similar programming software.

+ 3+ years experience with 3 and 5 axis machinery setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Haas CNC machining.

+ Ability to work with GD&T, mill, and machining processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New Freedom, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.
