HIRING: CNC Lathe Programmer - Haas and Fanuc Controls
Description
1st shift M-Th 6am-4:30pm, some OT on Fridays. There are about 6 guys total in the shop, it is fairly small. This needs to be someone who does not need much training, and can get to work day 1.
**Key Responsibilities** :
- Program CNC lathes using G&M-code and CAM software to meet part specifications. Haas and Fanuc controllers.
- Set up Haas and Takisawa CNC lathes, including tooling, offsets, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret Aerospace and Defense blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Perform first-article and final inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor machining processes for efficiency and quality; troubleshoot issues as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 2-3 years in CNC lathe programming and set-up.
- Machines: Must have hands-on experience with Haas, and preferred to have experience with Takisawa CNC lathes.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam).
- Strong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
CAN HAVE:
Education: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in CNC machining.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
