    Job Title: Weekend Turning Machinist

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Weekend Turning Machinist, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of flight-critical Aerospace/Defense components and assemblies. This role offers a unique shift schedule from Friday to Sunday, allowing you to work 36 hours while being compensated for 40, with an additional 25% shift differential.

    Responsibilities

    + Machine parts to specifications using machine tools, particularly lathe machines.

    + Work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications to ensure precision.

    + Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, utilizing precision instruments such as micrometers.

    + Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of basic machine tools and specialized tools to perform precision machining operations.

    + Manufacture high-end aerospace machine parts.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC turning. Milling experience will be considered, but turning is highly preferred.

    + Proficiency in operating turning centers, lathe machines, and CNC machines.

    + Experience in CNC lathe, CNC turning, and machine setup and operation within the aerospace industry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in setting up and operating CNC turning machines.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
