Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable warehouse worker for a global auto parts distribution facility. This role involves handling bulk items for distribution to various stores and managing orders for an E-Commerce section. The ideal candidate will be flexible and comfortable moving across different sections of the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Move around the warehouse and assist in various sections as required.

+ Adapt to different tasks and departments based on daily needs.

+ Get cross-trained in multiple areas to ensure operational flexibility.

+ Use a pick list and RF scan gun to collect specific items for the E-Commerce section.

+ Package items at the station for shipping and distribution.

+ Operate computers for documentation and order processing.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations.

+ Proficiency with warehouse picking and inventory management.

+ Forklift operation skills.

+ Strong computer skills for documentation and order processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to cross-training.

+ Physical stamina to move throughout a large warehouse with extensive walking.

Work Environment

Work in a large warehouse equipped with modern technology and tools. Weekend shifts are from Saturday to Tuesday, noon to 10:30 PM. Dress comfortably for a physically active role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Branford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
