Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
The Electrician is responsible for installing and connecting power supply wiring and conduit for lighting, general devices, newly installed machines, and building equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and supporting production controls and automation components, as well as diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures.
Responsibilities
+ Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for lighting, general devices, and new machines.
+ Troubleshoot and support production controls and automation components.
+ Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
+ Maintain electrical distribution equipment such as 3 phase 4 wire 277/480 VAC, 3 Phase 4 wire 120/208 VAC, and single phase 3 wire 120/240 VAC.
+ Maintain building lighting, task lighting, parking lot lighting, and related systems.
+ Plan and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in accordance with the NEC.
+ Complete accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
+ Maintain and organize shop area or service van, including inventory control and tool maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ Basic skills and knowledge of motor controls and logic control systems.
+ Experience in troubleshooting and installing facility electrical distribution systems, electronics, and automation systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience performing preventative maintenance on electrical utilities and equipment of 480 volts or less.
+ Ability to replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards, relays, and control buttons.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
