Industrial Maintenance Technician

East Cleveland

$28-$35/hr

2nd (1pm-9pm) ($1.50 shift differential)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, as well as perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. You will be required to follow a PM schedule, handle 480v 3-phase electrical wiring, and troubleshoot industrial machines, especially rolling machines. Basic facility maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and providing general office support, will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.

+ Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.

+ Handle 480v 3-phase electrical wiring.

+ Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, particularly rolling machines.

+ Perform basic facility maintenance tasks.

+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

+ Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

+ Identify faulty or unsafe operations and report them to supervision.

+ Comply with and enforce all safety regulations.

+ Maintain clean and orderly work areas.

+ Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System.

Work Environment

The facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It is a quiet environment where employees can listen to music with one earbud during work hours. Casual dress and gym shoes are required, along with eye protection. We have openings 2nd shift (1pm-9pm) with a $1.50 shift differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland Heights, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
