Job Title: Welder Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder Foreman to lead a team of TIG welders. This hands-on role involves welding mainly on stainless steel and occasionally using MIG welding on aluminum. The primary task will be assembling stainless steel hand railings for both commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage a team of TIG welders.

+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and MIG welding on aluminum.

+ Assemble hand railings for commercial and residential properties.

+ Conduct on-site weld tests, focusing on horizontal and vertical welds.

+ Read and interpret blueprints effectively.

+ Work on 16-18” gauge materials.

+ Stand and be on your feet throughout the day.

Essential Skills

+ Proven TIG welding experience.

+ Ability to perform MIG welding.

+ Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Familiarity with welding stainless steel and aluminum.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a foreman or supervisor in a welding environment.

+ Fabrication skills.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment. The role is primarily first shift, running from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, with the potential for extended hours or Saturday work if necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
