Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in a food distribution facility. Utilize your skills with a pallet jack to efficiently load outbound trailers.

Responsibilities

+ Unload trucks by hand or using a pallet jack, handling pallets arriving from Puerto Rico.

+ Manage and handle 1300 cases per day during the day shift.

+ Pick orders and load trucks for night deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch of 6 or more trucks each night to locations in North Carolina and South Carolina.

+ Maintain reliable attendance with no late arrivals or missed days to qualify for additional benefits.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor.

+ Proficiency in loading and unloading using a pallet jack.

+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

+ Material handling skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in loading trucks and using pallet jacks.

Work Environment

Work in a food distribution warehouse with set shifts. Day shift hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and night shift hours are from 5 PM until finish, Sunday through Thursday. The facility requires efficient handling of pallets and cases, with a focus on timely operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prince George, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
