    Quality Control Technician – Hanover, MD

    What You’ll Do

    + **Inspect & Verify:** Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

    + **Test for Excellence:** Conduct dimensional checks, torque tests, and electrical inspections using industry-standard tools and equipment.

    + **Document & Report:** Maintain accurate records of inspection results and test data for compliance and continuous improvement.

    + **Monitor & Improve:** Identify potential issues early, troubleshoot quality concerns, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.

    + **Drive Compliance:** Ensure adherence to internal standards and industry regulations.

    + **Champion Quality:** Participate in initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Experience in **quality control or manufacturing** (electrical knowledge is a plus!)

    + Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures**

    + **Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills**

    + **High school diploma or GED required;** **associate or bachelor’s degree** in a technical field preferred

    + Comfortable working in a **hands-on environment** and lifting up to 50 lbs

    Work Environment

    + Manufacturing floor setting with safety gear provided (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, cut-resistant sleeves)

    + Long pants required (no leggings)

    + Standing/walking for extended periods; occasional lifting of 25–50 lbs

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
