    What You’ll Do

    + Perform **high-quality MRI procedures** (including routine and advanced imaging) according to established protocols and physician orders.

    + Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the procedure.

    + Prepare and position patients accurately, adjust equipment controls, and follow all safety and infection-control standards.

    + Maintain MRI equipment and work area cleanliness; assist engineers and physicists in maintaining optimal performance.

    + Ensure MRI safety by screening all patients and visitors according to approved policies.

    + Collaborate with Radiologists, nursing staff, and imaging team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.

    + Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records for interpretation.

    Requirements

    + **Education:** High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

    + **Certification/Licensure:**

    + Certified by one of the following:

    + **ARRT (MR)** – Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or

    + **ARRT (R)** – Radiography, or

    + **ARMRIT** – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

    + Must hold a **current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License** as a **Medical Radiologic Technologist**

    + **Experience:** Less than one year required; one year of MRI experience preferred

    + **BLS Certification** required

    + Excellent communication and patient care skills
