Manager, Quality Assurance
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality technology solutions that drive business success? We're looking for a Manager of Quality Assurance (QA) to lead the charge in shaping and governing enterprise-wide QA practices that ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and high-performing.
In this pivotal role, you'll provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for QA processes across the organization. You'll champion test automation, performance testing, and defect management ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. As a trusted partner to technology and business leaders, you'll balance operational excellence with the agility needed to support both lifecycle and transformational initiatives.
You'll lead a talented team of QA professionals and collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, business analysis, and project management teams to elevate our QA maturity and deliver solutions that meet business goals, regulatory standards, and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Develop Talent: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Drive Quality Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide QA methodologies, standards, and best practices that align with business goals, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
Enable Scalable Testing: Oversee the execution of test strategies, including automation, performance, and user acceptance testing while championing tools and technologies that enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure testable, traceable
Qualifications
Required:
+ A Bachelor¿s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems Management or business field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes across both Agile and Waterfall environments.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, establishing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a track record of balancing quality and speed.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner across technology and business function In-depth knowledge and experience with automation tools, frameworks, and test management software (i.e., Selenium, UFT, HP), integration and performance testing tools (SoapUI, ReadyAPI, LoadRunner), performance testing, and CI/CD integration
+ Broad knowledge of Atlassian JIRA for test management dashboards and team kanban boards.
Desired:
+ Graduate work or additional background in Management Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
+ Experience driving positive organizational change
+ Experience with both on premise and cloud-based application implementations, and a proven ability to effectively integrate on premise and cloud-based applications.
+ Certifications relevant to the position (ISTQB, CMSQ)
