Six enterprise offices support the work of the agency’s four program divisions. DCH employees are based in Atlanta, Cordele and across the state.

     

    The Department of Community Health is seeking a highly qualified applicant for its SHBP Employer Services Specialist 3 position with the State Health Benefits Plan Division. This position provides support to employers participating in the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP). The role involves researching and resolving complex employer issues, such as billing discrepancies and eligibility concerns, and providing accurate guidance on SHBP policies and procedures. The employee communicates with employers through the SHBP Xchange system and vendors, prepares written responses, and collaborates with internal and external partners. This position requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills and the ability to work independently while serving as a subject matter resource in assigned areas. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization.
