    Join the team at Gibbs Oil where we are currently seeking a dedicated Store Opening Clerk for our Colchester, CT convenience store location.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    + Managing cash transactions and maintaining the cash register.

    + Opening the store and working the morning shift on a regular basis.

    + Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

    + Stocking shelves and ensuring the store is well-organized and clean.

    + Completing shift paperwork accurately and efficiently.

    + Performing regular cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

    Requirements

    Requirements for the Convenience Store Clerk position include:

    + Able to work early morning opening shifts.

    + Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

    + Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor.

    + Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    + Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

    + Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.

    + Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
