    Substitute School Food Service Worker – Fuel the Future!

     

    Flexible, On-Call | Monday–Friday (No Nights or Weekends!)

    What You’ll Do (When You’re Scheduled): Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staffSet up and clean serving areas and kitchen equipmentFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesContribute to a positive and welcoming mealtime atmosphereSupport the team and jump in wherever needed

    Requirements

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    Education:• High school graduate or equivalent.• Must complete all Whitsons and other mandated training as necessary

     

    Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:• Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.• 1 year professional food service experience preferred• Always present a positive and professional image.• Be able to lift 40 pounds or more

Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
