Supervisor, Behavioral Health Therapy

The Supervisor, Behavioral Health Coaching oversees the behavioral health coaching staff and ensures continuity and coordination of care for Health Plan members with behavioral health illnesses and complex behavioral health needs. The Behavioral Health Coaching Supervisor is responsible for the day to day oversight of case assignment and complex issues that arise in the call center as well as supervision of the behavioral health coaches. The Behavioral Health Coaching Supervisor acts as a BH subject matter expert for the health plan, assisting non-BH teams in planning and training their teams to manage complicated cases. The BH Coaching supervisor also acts as a point of contact for managing the BH crisis process across the health plan. This position is located on East Carson Street with working hours between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight and Assessments: Conduct and document assessments, create treatment plans, and assess patient needs for outpatient/partial hospitalization programs.
* Therapy and Documentation: Provide individual and group therapy, participate in team meetings, and complete same-day clinical documentation.
* Service Authorization: Provide clinical information for service authorization and review cases with the Director.
* Additional Services: Assess and refer patients to other care levels or community programs as needed.
* Productivity and Quality Assurance: Maintain daily productivity records and participate in quality assurance activities.
* Team Management: Direct and assign work to therapists, conduct performance reviews, and enforce policies.
* Operational Support: Recruit new employees, coordinate admissions, and supervise daily clinical activities.
* Issue Management: Alert management of issues and assume leadership in the Director's absence.
* Training and Supervision: Collaborate on training needs assessments, provide staff training, and supervise therapists, incorporating evidence-based treatment.
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
* Five years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
* Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience required.
* Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctorate in Psychology required.
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
* Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
* Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
* Act 33 with renewal
* Act 34 with renewal
* Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
