Job Description

One of our clients is looking for Release Train Engineer who can join their team. The client’s mission is to make journeys easy and more enjoyable their customers when they go into their stores. Responsibilies are shown below:

• Coach the lean-agile mindset and practices to members of the agile release train, including scrum masters, agile team members, product managers and business owners

• Support communication within the ART and build one-team mindset

• Optimize the flow of work through the agile release train

• Help the product managers prepare for PI Planning and ensure the vision, roadmap and program backlogs are ready

• Help teams with feature estimation and the aggregation of estimates for larger pieces of work such as epics

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events

• Facilitate the PI planning event

• Help manage risks, dependencies and resolve impediments

• Capture program flow metrics, and other useful metrics, to support relentless improvement

• Helping shape and foster the Scrum Master community, Communities of Practice

Skills and Requirements

• Must sit onsite 5 days per week

• 5+ years of experience working as a Release Train Engineer, specifically leading agile teams

• A strong experience of working in a SAFe environment

• Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum and SAFe

• Superior communications skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external stakeholders

• This role could also suit a Scrum Master with significant Agile experience, who worked in SAFe. • SAFe certifications are welcome
