    Job Description

    As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving a high-impact initiative for a leading local utility provider. This project involves transitioning transmission services to a new operator, enabling the organization to expand its ability to sell excess energy on a broader scale.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead and coordinate IT software projects with a strong focus on SaaS solutions, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

    • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align objectives, manage expectations, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Oversee project documentation, budgeting, and scalability, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

    • Navigate complex environments with confidence, leveraging your expertise to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.

     

    While prior experience in utilities—particularly electrical—is a plus, it is not mandatory. Success in this role will come from your ability to manage technology-driven projects and foster strong partnerships with SaaS vendors.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years' experience as an IT project manager leading IT application projects

    • Experience managing project portfolios with revenue of $1 million + and managing budget

     

    Strong communications skills and ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders on a frequent basis Background in utilities, specifically electricity
