A Day in the Life:
The Fleet Processing Manager oversees a team responsible for fleet asset acquisition, transfer, and disposition. They ensure accurate and prompt reporting in Hertz Financial Statements and sub ledgers, while promoting process improvements for greater efficiency
We expect the starting salary to be around $100,000; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
What You’ll Do:
+ Supervise the processing of invoices, payments, and credit notes for vendors and customers, and manage collections and billing activities.
+ Ensure proper documentation for processing activity is obtained and retained.
+ Develop and implement processing policies and procedures for revenue earning equipment, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, statutory, ABS, tax and other relevant regulations.
+ Monitor and document results of SOX control self-testing process. Remediate any GAPs prior to testing by Hertz Internal Control and/or external auditors. Review departmental Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation to ensure that all aspects are current and accurate.
+ Ensure the timely delivery of internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and support as needed
+ Monitor Fleet Acquisitions/deletions activity to ensure adherence to internal controls over disbursements for new/sold vehicles
+ Presentation of Monthly Financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and applicable reports to required business leaders. Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting and forecasting efforts.
+ Provide analytics that drive financial profitability along with efficient use of capital and cash flows.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions including strong communications with applicable business partners.
+ Take the lead on resolving issues with business partners to maintain up to date and accurate accounting information.
+ Analyze fleet accounting processes and implement best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
+ 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
+ 5+ years of supervisor experiences preferred
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
+ Accounting/GAAP/SOX compliance experience
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ MS Excel/Office
