    + GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    + The Environmental Services Worker position involves cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining patient and resident rooms and common areas to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe, healthy environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include proper waste management, sanitizing high-touch surfaces and medical equipment, following strict cleaning protocols for sensitive areas, and adhering to all hospital and regulatory standards for cleanliness and infection control.

    + EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    + High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

    + Ability to read and write the English language required.

    + WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + + Familiarity with cleaning equipment, cleaning agents, and proper sanitation techniques preferred.

    + Strong record of dependability for work attendance.

    + Must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
