As a **Security Professional - Government Screener Full-Time** in **Raleigh, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment by conducting access control duties, monitoring entry points, and assisting visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents, while your ability to use computers or tablets enhances your contribution to daily operations. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Screen individuals entering the government location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols.

+ Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

+ Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
