    Job Description

    This is a permanent, hybrid position based in San Bernardino, CA, designed for an experienced electrical engineer who can lead projects across multiple market sectors—municipal, educational, medical, federal, and private. The role blends technical leadership, client engagement, and team mentorship.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage projects from proposal to construction completion, serving as the primary client contact.

    + Formulate cohesive design solutions within scheduled timelines and project budgets.

    + Develop and pitch fee proposals for clients and secondary markets.

    + Attend site kickoff meetings and maintain client engagement throughout the design process.

    + Supervise and mentor a team of 1-2 designers/drafters, ensuring quality control for projects.

    + Engage new clients at industry events to develop new business opportunities.

    Essential Skills

    + 8+ years of experience in electrical systems.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

    + Experience across multiple market sectors (municipal, education, medical, etc.).

    + Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

    + Passion for mentorship and team development.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Licensed Electrical Engineer (CA).

    + LEED certification.

    + Experience with complex electrical systems.

    + Proposal writing and client development experience.

    + Degree in Electrical Engineering (though candidates without a degree may be considered if technically competent).

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is hybrid and flexible, with a preference for at least two days in-office and flexible hours, including a 4/9 schedule with half-day Fridays. The role involves approximately 60% office work and 20-30% fieldwork, mostly in Southern California.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
