Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and assist in monthly closing processes.

• Collaborate on the development and review of annual budgets and performance projections.

• Verify that all expenses align with project budgets and ensure proper documentation for requisitions of goods and services.

• Stay informed about local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

• Assist in coordinating and managing the annual audit process.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of organizational procedures, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles.

• Create and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.

• Perform additional accounting tasks as required to support the team. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of proven experience in accounting roles.

• Proficiency in major accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
