Job Title: In-Process Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated In-Process Inspectors to join our team, with openings available on the 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and the 2nd shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Candidates should be open to flexibility, including occasional overtime and some Saturdays. The role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the quality process, including basic manufacturing, assembly, and operation of hand tools.

Responsibilities

+ Perform visual and dimensional inspection of products.

+ Use o-meters, series testers, Hi-pot testing, smart scopes, microscopes, and scales.

+ Conduct quality control tasks using a variety of testing and measurement tools.

+ Perform basic manufacture, assembly, labeling, and packaging of cables.

+ Operate basic hand tools and assigned production/manufacturing equipment.

+ Perform in-process testing and inspection of over-molding cables.

+ Record process documentation accurately and manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

+ Interpret, read, and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.

+ Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and standard operating procedures.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of recent in-process inspection experience within medical device, electronics, or aerospace industries.

+ Proficiency in using measuring and testing tools such as microscopes, scales, and calipers.

+ Ability to operate Hi-pot testers, smart scopes, and perform quality inspection tasks.

+ Computer literacy, particularly with SAP, and documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a cleanroom or manufacturing assembly line environment.

+ Basic measurement skills using hand tools and electronic equipment.

Work Environment

You will be working in a cleanroom/manufacturing/assembly line environment, utilizing a range of manufacturing equipment. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards while engaging in tasks such as prepping, stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering of medical cables.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
