What You’ll Do
+ Plan & Purchase: Manage production schedules and purchasing to meet quality and delivery goals.
+ Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, EH&S, Material Control, and Customer Service to resolve issues quickly.
+ Forecast & Optimize: Use analytics and MRP systems to anticipate needs, prevent shortages, and avoid excess inventory.
+ Drive Efficiency: Recommend process improvements for ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.
+ Vendor Management: Build strong supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve service.
+ Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing and planning records, reconcile receiving and accounting issues.
+ Safety First: Model and promote safe work practices in all activities.
What You Bring
+ Experience: 2–3+ years in manufacturing purchasing/planning.
+ Education: High School Diploma required; additional certifications a plus.
+ Skills:Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.
+ Strong communication and negotiation skills.
+ Problem-solving ability in a dynamic environment.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
+ Understanding of inventory control, material flow, and ISO standards.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturbridge, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
