    Accounts Receivable Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and manage the accounts receivable function, encompassing invoices, collections, and cash applications. This role requires strategic oversight to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of receivables.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement strategic policies and procedures to improve the accounts receivable function.

    + Manage high-value and complex accounts, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding receivables.

    + Monitor and evaluate accounts receivable performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement to senior management.

    + Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analyses, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection trends.

    + Provide strategic insights based on financial data to support decision-making and drive improvements.

    + Conduct in-depth analysis of accounts receivable data to identify and address potential risks and opportunities.

    + Serve as a key point of contact for major customers and complex billing issues, providing high-level support and resolution of disputes.

    + Negotiate and manage complex payment arrangements and contracts.

    + Identify and mitigate risks associated with accounts receivable processes, including credit risk and collection challenges.

    + Participate in strategic projects and initiatives impacting the accounts receivable function and overall financial health of the organization.

    + Provide training, guidance, and support to accounts receivable staff, leading and mentoring team members.

    Essential Skills

    + Expertise in accounts receivable management.

    + Proficiency in reconciliation, collection, and general ledger processes.

    + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and cash application procedures.

    + Experience with NetSuite and accounting practices.

    + 5-8 years of relevant work experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree is required.

    + Experience in an international setting is preferred.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working with a collaborative team in a dynamic environment. You will use advanced accounting software and tools, including NetSuite, to manage accounts receivable functions efficiently. The position requires strong leadership skills, as you will mentor and guide team members to achieve excellence in their roles.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80900.00 - $115720.00/yr.

     

    401k Match4.5 weeks of pto

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a hybrid position in Raleigh,NC.
