Job Overview

Administrative Support & Coordination
+ Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure departmental efficiency
+ Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
+ Track key dates and deadlines across multiple initiatives
+ Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and presentation materials
+ Handle invoicing, expense reporting and provide mailroom support
Communication & Relationship Management
+ Answer, screen, and route incoming calls with professionalism
+ Escalate or de-escalate communications independently
+ Draft and deliver written and verbal responses on behalf of leaders
+ Leverage cross-divisional relationships to drive results
+ Maintain discretion while handling confidential information
Technology & Systems
+ Manage SharePoint sites and JonesNet pages
+ Train team members on tools like Clarity, MS Teams, OneDrive, Zoom, and SharePoint
+ Provide data entry and generate basic reports
+ Maintain office equipment and supplies
Event & Travel Planning
+ Coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events
+ Make travel arrangements and assist with onboarding new team members
+ Order gifts or flowers on behalf of leadership
Strategic Support
+ Prepare leaders for meetings and speaking engagements
+ Organize information for use in reports, speeches, and presentations
+ Format, edit, and proof documents for internal and external use
+ Apply knowledge of the firm's structure and initiatives to connect leaders with key stakeholders

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. + 5-8 years of relevant administrative experience
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Customer service mindset with a professional demeanor
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Professional
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision
+ Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
+ Moderate problem-solving skills; able to navigate non-routine challenges
+ Acts as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our St. Louis, MO home office location are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
