Using the necessary equipment, perform hand and spray painting of parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and finished products. Operate power sanders, spraying, and drying booths or related equipment.

As a painter at Solar Wamego, you will:

+ Prepare parts for painting through sanding and greasing

+ Operate paint equipment all while ensuring safety, quality and standard work are followed.

+ Use jib and overhead cranes to manually position parts and product.

+ Work in a clean, well-ventilated, safe environment

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Top candidates will also have:

+ Previous paint application experience

+ Previous experience in manufacturing or paint environment

Additional Information

+ Starting pay range: $20.03 - 27.04

+ Work location: Wamego, KS

+ First Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm
