Maintenance Technician Facilities -- Overnight -- Weekly Pay

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician Facilities, where you will play a crucial role in supporting plant operations and delivering maintenance support for capital projects. This position offers a dynamic work schedule with a unique rotation, ensuring work-life balance.

Responsibilities

+ Support plant operations by delivering maintenance support for capital projects.

+ Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools.

+ Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.

+ Conduct seasonal prep work, including annual preventative maintenance repairs and improvements.

+ Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.

+ Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.

+ Utilize predictive maintenance tools to detect and prevent future machine failures.

+ Create, continually update, and train on preventative maintenance plans for various equipment.

+ Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.

+ Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to work on elevated surfaces with fall protection equipment.

+ Beginner-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

+ Ability to lift up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

+ Willingness to work overtime hours and shift work, including weekends as needed.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic environment with a weekly schedule of Sunday to Saturday, from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, on a 2 on 3 off, 3 on 2 off rotation. The role involves working in various conditions, including chilly warehouses and around greasy machine parts, with exposure to common allergens such as weed pollen, corn pollen, and corn dust. Safety gear will be provided, and working at heights above 25 feet is required. No driving is involved, and the dress code accommodates the physical nature of the job

This is a Contract position based out of York, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
