Preferred Qualifications:

- Two years of experience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance of Diesel Mechanics.

- Two years of experience diagnosing issues and ordering parts/supplies for heavy equipment and construction equipment.

- Two years of experience using State of Georgia purchasing procedures, obtaining quotes, preparing in-house requests.

- One year of experience using Outlook, Excel, or Peoplesoft Financials.

Notes:

- The daily report to site is the Engineering and Construction Services Shop/Warehouse located behind the grounds of Central SP in Macon.

Associate's/Vocational/Technical degree in area of assignment from an accredited college or university AND Two years of supervisory experience in area of assignment OR Three years of experience in area of assignment, Two years of which in a supervisory/lead role OR One year of experience at the lower level Mechanic 3 (FET062) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require specific licensure.
