    Position Details

    Approximate Start/End Date: December 2025 - June 30, 2026 (appointment renewal/extension is dependant on continued receipt of grant funding)

     

    Appointment Type: Full-time, fixed-term grant-funded position

     

    Work Hours: 35 hours per week

    Position Summary

    HIGN at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time Project Manager to support the implementation and coordination of a portfolio of innovative, multi-site initiatives focusing on aging and serious illness in community-based and long-term care. The successful candidate will work with the PI, Project Director, faculty investigators, national and community partners to achieve program objectives. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in long-term care, aging services, healthcare project management, or research project coordination.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Project Leadership & Coordination

     

    + Support achievement of project objectives and milestones

    + Manage daily operations and ensure timely completion of deliverables

    + Schedule meetings as needed on various projects

     

    Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

     

    + Clarify program expectations and processes with long-term care communities and champions to ensure understanding and fidelity

    + Facilitate the dissemination of best practices and program resources

    + Lead virtual evaluation meetings with long-term care community partners and champions

     

    Program Management & Reporting

     

    + Track activities and timelines across project components

    + Assist with grant reporting, documentation, and program evaluation

    + Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and progress updates for leadership and funders

    + Perform data collection through a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods

     

    Team Collaboration & Communication

     

    + Work in partnership with faculty, administrative staff, and research personnel

    + Contribute to communications, resource development, and stakeholder outreach

     

    Regulatory

     

    + Support compliance with Institutional Review Board and other human subjects protections processes

     

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the budgeted salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

    Required Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree

    Preferred Education:

    Master’s degree in nursing, gerontology, healthcare administration, social work, public health, public policy, or a related field.

    Required Experience:

    Minimum of one year of experience in program or project management, preferably in long-term care, aging services, or health care, and experience in conducting human subjects research.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilitites:

    + Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace

    + Effective critical thinking and sound decision making

    + Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work with team members

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilitites:

    + Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement

    + Ability to manage multiple timelines, partnerships, and deliverables effectively

    + Experience with grant-funded projects or academic–community initiatives is highly desirable

    + Comfortable working in a high paced, mission driven environment on multiple grant-funded projects
